1. They will never tell that the Supreme Court judgement that was delivered in November 2013 was not about Finsbury Investements taking control over ZPC but among the other issues, whether the injunction granted to the Ventriglias against PTA Bank and Receiver by Supreme Court in 2010 could subsist following the discharge of Receiver and manager of ZPC by PTA Bank in April 2013. They will never tell you about the foregoing fact as they know that will weaken their agenda. 

2.They will never tell you that the interest of Finsbury in ZPC is not founded in share transfer forms but on shareholders agreement dated on February 26, 2007 made between Finsbury Invstements and the Ventriglias. The defamers and the slanderers will never tell you the above fact because they know it is not going to sit well in their campaign that’s aimed to anchor Finsbury stake on their concocted claims about the forged share transfer forms. 

 3. Whether the forms were forged and by whom are matters, which are subject to determination by Justice Chashi in Cause No. 2008/HC/366 where Finsbury Investments is defendant for counterclaiming and Antonio and Manuela Ventriglia are plaintiffs. They will never tell you about this because they need to sustain their claims about forging the share transfer forms.

Rajan Mahtani Sued Simataa Simataa the Ex-employee of #FinanceBankZambia for Contract Violation

Rajan Mahtani has recently sued the Simataa Simataa, an ex-employee of Finance Bank Zambia who is presently the proprietor of Mutendere Football Club. Dr. Mahtani and Finance Bank demands K1 billion plus the interest from him, which he paid Simataa to keep silent when he left the job.

But according to a letter of demand, which is seen by the Watchdog, Simataa paid no heed to the contract and voluntarily offered himself as a witness in the Lusaka High Court against Finance Bank Zambia. This act from Simataa’s end compelled Rajan Mahtani to take legal step against him.

When Simataa left the job seven years back in 2007, the Chairman Finance Bank Zambia Rajan Mahtani asked him to sign a paper where it was written that he would desist from issuing statements injurious to the bank, its owners and its employees. Simataa signed the agreement, but in exchange of that, he took K1 billion. All this meant that Rjana Mhatni in order to keep in quiet gave him the money. But now it is found that Simataa has been ignoring the contract and issuing media statements adverse to the interests of the bank. This raged Dr. Mahtani and so he decided to demand the money plus the interest from him.

Rajan Mahtani has sued him and has given Simataa seven-day time to repay K1 billion plus the interest. If he fails to do so, the chairman of the Finance Bank has no option but to file a suit against him. However, the best part of the story is yet to come. Even after doing such ills, Simataa has dared Dr. Mahtani to take legal action against him. He said that he is not going to be scared by Dr. Mahtani’s threats, he was not on his payroll and he has not even signed any agreement to not speak against the bank or its employees or owners.

Rajan Mahtani is a brave man. He accepted Simataa’s challenge to meet in court and said that since the matter is subjudice, he would not put any comments regarding this matter.

Simataa, however, has also been banned for lifetime for all kinds of football activities by the FAZ. The ban came in the wake of breach of football rules by him.

False Assertions Against Dr. Rajan Mahtani, the Chairman Finance Bank Zambia

On November 6, 2013, two articles under “BOZ in press query poser” and “Mahtani claims K120 million from BOZ” on the Daily Nation and Zambia Reports were published respectively. They must not be recognized and accepted rather they must be dealt in the Court of Law . These news outlets are not providing genuine information. They are up to some plan to tarnish the image of some reliable persons and organizations. These people do not recognize the harm they are causing internationally and locally to the repute of the nation. They only seem to be concerned in their pay-masters, the people who are busy making their own plan.

The fact as specified below justify the allegations:

Never did Dr. Mahtani claim from BoZ for any recompense for Bank of Zambia wrong doings, which were manipulated at the time of previous government although he must and the demand rightly would be huge.

The alleged unlawful activities were all untrue and made up by the connivers who longed to avoid repaying their loan and share spoils with people involved in earlier government. It has almost been two years that Finance Bank Zambia was handed over legally.

Why the Zambian Reports and Daily Nation are publishing articles now?

The actual answer is: several culprits have already had their legal proceedings processed through Courts and presently are in a quandary as to the way to pay back these loan amounts without bearing any loss in their unlawfully gotten properties? 

They have joined hands with several earlier administration’ perpetrators for using this tabloid and using discrediting techniques. All this has been done in order to persuade the Courts and compel Dr. Mahtani and Finance Bank. They have been unsuccessful in the past and would be unsuccessful again if they  don’t expose themselves openly, admit their misconduct and confront the truth. 

FBZ or Finance Bank Zambia has always obeyed all the needs of Banking and Financial Services Act. Authentic enquirers may get copies of their yearly accounts,which have been audited by well-known International Auditors.

Problems relating to the First Rand Limited, a financial service provider in South Africa, as well as their plotters are a legal matter and as a result sub-judice. 

Zambian banker in press query’s para 11 may only be related to Chairman Finance Bank Zambia,  Rajan Mahtani, who refused to have been involved in such a case and has thus directed legal investigations through hiring lawyers. 

It’s very clear that the persons responsible for are using similar techniques of blackmail, cheap media and vendetta. Masterminds are identified and are expected to be dealt properly by authorities.
