Almost a decade ago, in 2005, the operations of the Finance Bank of Zambia Ltd., was shut down in Malawi because of an allegation that related to money laundering. However, there is hardly any materialistic proof in such regard. The current attempt to re-open in Malawi is a bold step taken by Dr. Rajan Mahtani to ensure that the nation has a steady flow of employment and resources that can aid its development plans. Going by the present situation, the meeting looks better than the earlier two and there are probable of re-opening in Malawi very soon.

The Zambezi Portland Cement Factory, Ndola Housing Project and Education scheme for children are among some of his biggest contribution to the economy of Zambia. With his future plans closely related to the development of other countries as well, Rajan Mahtani is all set to make Africa a better place to live. Opening a branch in Malawi means more employment opportunities for the locals, a steady supply of funds for developments and an incentive to save more by people.
