Nickson Chilangwa, Kawambwa central member of parliament, sends a
letter of appreciation to Dr. Rajan
Mahtani, chairman of the Mahtani Group of Companies for his donations to the
less fortunate and less privileged people of the nation. He is very glad with
Rajan Mahtani for his sincere efforts of making those less privileged people of
Zambia happy during the festival season.
Rajan Mahtani recently donated a huge sum of money to Kawambwa
hospital and the Kachema Musuma Orphanage Centre for the patients, hospital
staffs and the orphans. It was great of Dr. Mahtani that he thought about these
people during the festival season. Hardly people think about these less
privileged people while merry making.
Chilangwa was so happy with Rajan Mahtani that he personally
expressed this gratitude to him. In his letter he mentioned: Your Donations have
gone a long way in putting a smile on the faces of patients and the staff at
Kawambwa hospital and at the Kachema Musuma Orphanage Centre. I send you best
wishes for 2014.
This is not the first time that Dr. Rajan Mahtani had involved himself in a charitable activity. He
is in fact known in Zambia for being a great businessman and a philanthropist. A
few months before, under his chairmanship, one of his companies even donated a
modern computer science lab worth K212 000 to the Rusangu University at Monze. He
is a man who always thinks for the betterment of the nation and the people of
Zambia. Every step he takes is for the progress of the nation. He is called the
Hero of Zambia by the Zambians.
