Dr. Rajan Mahtani is a noted individual and businessman of Zambia. He has successfully established various businesses in Zambia, most notably Mahtani Group of Companies and Finsbury Investments Limited. He has also established businesses across developed nations like the United Kingdom. In spite of his steady successes and Business Empire, he never resorted to unethical practices and always took the road of honesty and ethics to secure and grow his businesses.

He claimed that he is the rightful owner of the Zambezi Portland Cement. The Cement factory was taken over by the Ventriglias forcefully, almost nine years ago. Since then, Dr. Rajan Mahtani has been fighting the case for the rightful ownership of the factory at the Lusaka High Court. The latest evidence submitted by Dr. Rajan Mahtani clearly indicate that he is a much stronger contender for the bank compared to the Ventriglias. Sources have also suggested that due to this lack of evidence, the Ventriglias have often tried to discredit Dr. Mahtani and his company Finsbury in several instances. One of the instances was when Dr. Mahtani was accused of arm-twisting a shareholder. However, these allegations have been proved wrong.

It is really painful to see that even after such strong evidence; the High Court has not been able to provide a sound judgment even after nine years. It is hoped that this current progress will be significant and justice will be provided to the right contender soon.
